Nature-Based Support for SEND & Additional Needs

We are happy to work alongside schools, families, and organisations supporting young and older adults with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), neurodivergence, or additional support needs.

Our aim is to create opportunities for meaningful engagement with the land in ways that feel accessible, safe, and enjoyable for every individual.

Nature offers a unique environment for learning and development—one that can reduce pressure, encourage curiosity, and support confidence-building in a calm and sensory-rich setting.

Activities may include:

  • Hands-on gardening and growing food
  • Seasonal crafts and nature-based learning
  • Animal care and gentle interaction
  • Practical land-based skills
  • Opportunities to build independence and self-confidence
  • Collaborative activities that support communication and connection

We recognise that every person experiences the world differently, and we strive to adapt our sessions to individual needs wherever possible.

At Bramble Meadow, inclusion means more than access—it means creating a space where everyone feels genuinely welcomed, respected, and valued.
